On the Datasource record page, link the Datasource to the Dataset.
There is an additional configuration parameter on the Dataset Datasource object that allows you to select which datasources of a dataset are shown in the UI by default.
The behaviour of this checkbox is as follows:

When none of the Dataset Datasource records has the Default Selected box checked, all datasources will be shown by default.

When at least one Dataset Datasource records had the Default Selected box checked, only the datasource with the box checked will be shown. Additional datasources can then be selected in the 24Planning board.
