24Planning Spring '26 Release
The 24Planning Spring '26 Release is out with plenty of new content.
Some highlights:
Ability to restrict actions on certain events to avoid accidental mistakes.
Work with resource availabilities in the Gantt Chart and automatically extend task durations as a function of resource availability.
Add columns in the left pane in the Gantt Chart and search.
A new Flow integration type called Transform, that let’s you transform events in the front end, before deciding to save them to the back-end.
Use Flow integrations in the Gantt Chart to add custom actions.
Load multiple projects in one Gantt Chart view.
Restricting the Actions on Events
The Datasource definition now allows you to define whether some events are draggable or resizable. If you e.g. work with fixed shift durations, you can avoid that users accidently drag at the edges of events or if you have maintenance works ongoing at a location on a certain date, you may want to avoid that users move that around in the planning board.
Resource Availability in the Gantt Chart
The concept of resource availability allows you to define when individual resources are available for work. The periods of unavailability can be highlighted in the Gantt chart and tasks that overlap with the non-working period get automatically extended, i.e. we make a distinction between the effort for a task and its lead time (the expected total duration of a task that takes into account working and non-working time). You can see this feature in action in the following video.
The concept is demonstrated in this short video:

Via the concept of Dynamic Fields, it is now possible to add extra columns in the left pane of the Gantt chart. The search bar on top of each column allows you to easily search for information in the Gantt chart.
Flow Integrations - Transform
We have introduced an additional Flow Integration Type, called Transform. The Transform Flow Integration allows to pass all events in the current time selection (e.g. all events in a week view) to the Screenflow. Changes to events are immediately visible in the front-end and can afterwards be saved.
Use Flow Integrations in the Gantt Chart
The Spring '26 Release allows you to embed Flow Integrations in the Gantt Chart to define your own custom actions. You can use the Trigger Gantt Left Pane in the Integration Flow definition.
Load Multiple Projects in the Gantt Chart
Before this release, the top level menu allowed you to easily switch between Gantt Chart projects. However, in some cases you would like to have multiple projects in one view:
Search for information across multiple projects at once.
Move tasks between projects
Compare staffing across projects.
The Spring release allows you to load multiple projects at once.
